El Roy combines the classic robust yet forgiving character of chromoly steel meets modern-day long and slack geometry, a match as perfect as mountain biking and post-ride burritos. This new 29" wheel trail slayer was purpose built for silly fun days in the woods, no matter the conditions. Use it as a back-to-the-roots, all-in-one trail slayer, or as that perfect "n+1 bike," on days when the full-suspension bike stays at home in the shed. Named in honor of our favorite post-ride taqueria, the El Roy is overflowing in solid spec choices, all wrapped up with a stout Series 3 double butted and formed CrMo frameset. Grab one of two frame sizes, Regular or Grande, and enjoy the delicious goodness that we've cooked up. Series 3 CrMo Frame - The El Roy is built on a stout Series 3 4130 CrMo frame with investment cast dropouts, integrated drop-in headset, and external brake and hose mounts, all fully ED coated for longevity. Geometry - Gravity-oriented geometry, with a 63° headtube and 78° seattube angles, 44mm fork offset, and long reach measurements. Investment Cast Dropouts - Custom investment cast CrMo 148x12mm Boost thru-axle dropouts provide strength and stiffness where you need it most.

When he first designed the Ultra he knew it would appeal to riders who demand specific ride characteristics and dirt slaying only he could deliver- and that was in the 1980s! Good design withstands the test of time, and the latest iteration of the Ultra is a prime example. Like its predecessor from 30 years prior, the new Ultra occupies a unique ride space from cross-country riders looking to get rowdy and go big to enduro riders lusting for some all-mountain shredding. Designed around a 120mm travel fork and super stable Boost 148 spacing, most of the fun is in the wheels. Designed to accommodate 29" or 27.5" wheels, the Ultra is highly versatile. Throw on some 29s for some trail-smashing XC riding, or saddle up some 27.5+ for some serious no-holds-barred shredding. The version 2.0 of the Riff offers practical updates in features and geometry without going all-in with progressive geometry that almost everyone in chasing. We wanted to keep this frame a hardtail that's great for bike packing and familiar-feeling on long days in the saddle on rolling terrain. There is a slightly steeper seat angle for more efficient climbing and shorter seat tubes to benefit dropper posts. Tough Broski Sliding Dropouts allow you to run single-speed, geared or even hub gears. Rear hub spacing in updated to Boost 148 . A modified chainstay allows fitting even some double cranks with “plus size” 2.8? wide. - ED coating inside frame and under the paint increase rust resistance - Boost 148mm rear hub spacing - Geometry is optimized for 120mm forks.
